Personal and Academic Interests

collage

I’m passionate about looking after my physical and mental well-being. Most mornings, I’m up early for a run or walk with my rescue dog, Vela, and I love being out in nature or practicing yoga to recharge.

I’ve got two extremely lively daughters who both swim for West Suffolk, amongst a rather ridiculous number of other extracurricular clubs and activities. Volunteering as a marshal for West Suffolk Swimming Club is something I truly enjoy—it’s amazing cheering on the young athletes, helping to channel their nerves, boosting their confidence and celebrating their successes.

I have a healthy obsession with houseplants, and I’m fascinated by how positive psychology and neuropsychology can be practically applied to support mental health.

I also love festivals, where the community and energy of loud music and dancing bring me joy and connection.
